The YZJ series ultrahigh hydraulic pressure pipe expanding machine mainly consists of a hydraulic pressure system, a pipe expanding gun, a pipe expanding head, a high-pressure hose, a control box and so on. The principle is that a method for expanding a pipe by using hydraulic pressure as power is used, namely the hydraulic pressure system generates and converts hydraulic pressure, the hydraulic pressure is injected into a liquid bag through a rod of the pipe expanding gun, and liquid pressure is applied to the inner wall of the pipe by using a bulging effect of the liquid bag, so that the pipe is tightly connected with a pipe plate.

一、Product Description:

1.The high-strength liquid bag sleeve has high high-pressure resistance and fatigue resistance and the average service life of more than 60 times per piece, and is a national patent product (ZL.99227566.0).

2.The portable pipe expanding gun features reasonable design, small size and light weight and is a national patent product (ZL.00219147.4).

3.The depth of the pipe expanding head inserted into a pipe expanding hole can be accurately determined.

4.High pipe expanding efficiency, reliable connection, no mechanical damage, no axial elongation of pipe and low stress corrosion

5.The pipe expanding pressure of each pipe expanding head can be accurately set and is displayed on a controller.

6.The expanding rod has long service life, can be used for attach expanding for thousands of times and strength expanding for at least 1,000 times, and is a national patent product (ZL.200510038608.4).

7.Carbon steel, stainless steel, copper and titanium alloy steel and a composite metal material can be expanded.

8.The requirement on the machining accuracy of an inner hole of the pipe is low, and expanding tolerance is ±0.5mm.

9.No influence on the welding process of the pipe before and after expanding.

10.The machine is provided with temperature control equipment and suitable for low-temperature work environment.

11.The requirement of deep hole expanding is met, and hole depth can reach 6-8m.

12.Due to a pumping structure, the auxiliary time of an expanding process is shortened, and the service life of the liquid bag sleeve is prolonged.

13.The machine is provided with a complete set of intelligent automatic control system, realizes digital display and is easy to operate and use.

三、Operating program

The pipe expanding machine is manually and automatically operated, and can enter an automatic program state after being manually regulated.

1. Preparatory work before equipment debugging

A gun head is connected with the pipe expanding machine, two oil pipes, a water pipe and a cable of the high-pressure hose are connected with an interface of the pipe expanding machine, and the top of the gun head is blocked by a plug, or an expanding rod component is arranged for trial expanding.

A power wire is connected to the pipe expanding machine (three-phase four-wire and frame ground).

Water addition: Referring to a local diagram of the pipe expanding machine (figure 6) in the specifications, a drain hose is removed, a cover on the top of the pipe expanding machine is screwed off, purified water is added into a water tank through a water inlet, when the drain hose is exhausted and the water flows out, the drain hose is inserted, the original state is restored, and water addition is stopped.

2. Manual debugging is conducted according to the following steps:

(1) Switching on an external power supply, opening a door of an electric control box, and turning on an air switch; (2) turning on a main pump switch on a control panel; (3) pressing a  button to turn on a manual indicating lamp; (4) setting the pipe expanding pressure, namely pressing a  button, displaying a ‘SET’ character on a PV bar, displaying a pipe expanding pressure value on an SV bar, pressing  and  buttons, and regulating the pipe expanding pressure displayed by an SV meter to reach a predetermined value; (5) regulating total oil pressure, namely rotating an overflow valve knob (low to high), so that a pressure indicated value of an oil pressure meter is at least higher than the set pipe expanding pressure value 5MPa; (6) pressing  buttons, regulating water pressure time (3 to 6S), pipe expanding time (3 to 6S) and recession time (3 to 6S); (7) pressing a  button (total zero clearing), namely pressing a  button, pressing a  button after the water pressure time becomes 0, pressing a  button after the pipe expanding time and the recession time become 0, allowing the figure of the water pressure meter to return to the original value, and turning on a ‘pipe expanding finishing’ lamp; and (8) pressing a  button if a certain amount of water in the liquid bag cannot be extracted, pulling the expanding rod out, performing system setting modification in a manual state, and increasing pumping times.

3. Equipment which is well operated after the manual debugging process is finished can be switched to the automatic expanding process. Automatic operation is conducted according to the following steps of: (1) pressing a  button to turn on an automatic indicating lamp; (2) inserting the prearranged gun head into the pipe (paying attention to insertion depth); (3) pressing a handle switch of the pipe expanding gun to turn on a green lamp; (4) automatically expanding; and (5) finishing expanding after a red lamp of the pipe expanding machine is turned on (the green lamp is turned off simultaneously), namely pulling the gun head and the expanding rod out.

四、Operation cautions

(1) A baffle barrier should be placed in front of (or directly opposite to) the pipe expanding gun head before pipe expanding work is started in order to avoid the phenomenon that the gun head is broken and flies forwards to hurt people due to unexpected reasons in the expanding work process.

(2) Insert the pipe expanding head into the pipe and moves it on all sides, and align the center of the gun head with the center of the pipe to the greatest extent in order to avoid the phenomenon that the gun head is subjected to bending deformation and even rupture failure because the pipe expanding head generates additional bending moment.

(3) When pressure is increased during manual pipe expanding or the green lamp of an automatic expanding handle is turned on, the pipe expanding head and the liquid bag should be sleeved with a thick-walled pipe (the internal diameter of the thick-walled pipe is the same as that of the pipe, and wall thickness is about 10mm) and placed into a pipe expanding area for pipe expanding in order to prevent a pipe expanding hydraulic pressure bag from being blasted under high pressure.

(4) When the pipe expanding head is inserted into the pipe expanding area for pipe expanding, use a positioning sleeve to determine a pipe expanding depth position, so that the phenomenon that the pipe is bulged or broken and needed to be replaced again because an area without the pipe plate is expanded is avoided.

(5) For an expanding area with a high requirement on sealing performance or a strength expanding area, expanding time can be appropriately prolonged.

(6) Regulate pipe expanding holding time according to the principle of short pipe expanding holding time under high oil pressure and long pipe expanding holding time under low oil pressure.

(7) Before expanding, the external diameter of the pipe and a pipe plate hole should be cleaned, and remove foreign matters such as burrs at a pipe orifice with a reamer to meet the requirement of hydraulic pressure expanding.

(8) After expanding is finished each time, check and reset the liquid bag and prevent the liquid bag from being bulged upwards, and both ends should not be turned.

(9) Please close the exhaust door at the room temperature of below 5.

(10) Water for the water tank is drinking purified water, and a water filter should be detached and washed within 10 days generally, so that the phenomenon that water pressure is influenced because impurities are mixed into the water filter is avoided.

(11) Imported 46! No.68 anti-wear hydraulic oil is filled in the oil tank of the machine.

五、Calculation of pipe expanding pressure and set pipe expanding pressure

The pipe expanding pressure can be calculated according to actual conditions such as materials of the pipe and the pipe plate, and an expanding geometric parameter by using a formula.

4. Selection of set pipe expanding pressure

When the pipe expanding pressure is set, attention should be paid to the requirement of a heat exchanger on the sealing performance and pull-off strength of a pipe expanding joint, and the influence of factors such as the roughness of a combining surface of the pipe and the pipe plate. For strength expanding with a high requirement on sealing performance, select high set pipe expanding pressure.

The pipe expanding pressure can be calculated according to pipe expanding parameter sizes and the yield of the materials of the pipe plate and the pipe by using formulas (1), (2) and (3), and the common numerical value can refer to an attached table (a pipe expanding pressure applied calculated value zoom table). The parameters of the pipe and the pipe plate hole are not involved in the table, and can be calculated by an insertion method or a formula.

For an important heat exchanger of which the material properties of the pipe and the pipe plate cannot be accurately determined or which has a high expanding requirement on the pipe and the pipe plate, it is suggested that an expanding process test should be performed first to attain reliable expanding.
